Measurable results

Camp should be fun, safe, promote good relationships and above all provide excellent instruction with measurable results—you’ll be able to see what they’ve learned!

"Camp was a great way to experience a campus I fell in love with and get some amazing stroke technique advice that really helped me succeed in training and competition."

Whether it’s found in drills, team-building exercises, leadership lessons, contests or games, your camper will leave with new concrete skills, new confidence and new friends.

Confidence + friendship

Find your camper's fit in these sports: boys' or girls' basketball, girls' gymnastics and volleyball, boys' wrestling, or coed cross country, soccer, softball, and swimming.

Just the right sport

Some camps are multi-day and some are single days. Multi-day campers can stay overnight in one of the UWEC residence halls, where they will be supervised by counselors and/or coaches who stay in the same residence hall. The rooms are double occupancy (two single beds). Overnight campers will be provided with a pillow and linens, but should bring their own bath towel and sundries.

And now...some details

A first responder will be on site and on staff throughout the camps. A clinic and hospital are located within one-half mile of campus. Each camper must complete a medical history form, have his/her own health and dental insurance, and be in good physical condition when he/she arrives at camp.

Medical staff information

Blugold camps are conducted on the beautiful campus of UW-Eau Claire. Campers will have use of recreational facilities including the McPhee Physical Education Center and Ade Olson Addition featuring indoor and outdoor tracks, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, swimming pool, etc.

Facilities

Overnight campers will have three well-balanced meals each full day included in the registration fee. Commuters are campers who elect not to stay overnight in the residence halls. Commuters do not eat breakfast on campus but may be provided with lunch and dinner where noted on the registration website.
